From the development and production of animated content to character animation, cinematography, and previs/postvis for feature films, ride films, video games and commercials, Alex delivers imaginative storytelling and brilliant visuals.
Alex produced, wrote and directed toy company Playmobil’s interactive film “The Secret of Pirate Island.” With over half a million in sales and translated into nine languages, this critically acclaimed DVD is beloved the world over by kids of all ages.
Alex has worked as a character animator on feature films, as a lead animator in the game industry, as a 3D layout artist at Paramount and Disney Studios, and previs/postvis artist and supervisor on numerous high-profile feature films.
Alex received a B.F.A. from Umass, Amherst in Fine Arts and an M.F.A. in Filmmaking from CalArts. He is a recipient of the prestigious Princess Grace Scholarship. His independent films “Thirteen” and “Mummer” have won numerous awards and he has taught and lectured about animation and digital production.
